Motivation for the attribution of the Liberation Award
Financial Times called him a mix between an “impudent banker and a shrewd manager”. Actually Matteo Arpe is the “enfant prodige” of the banking world, driven by talent, ambition and youth, characteristics that bring him to lead Capitalia in a gritty way.
Matte Arpe is an innovator, advocates his choices, and is oriented not only to profit but also to social innovations. He has created a new way of “making bank”, launching as a first step a social instrument, the “E Card”. This is not only a credit card for poorly women but also an solid opportunity for all the clients of the bank thanks to the total absence of additional costs. This initiative is also the realization of territorial values and support to community.
For all this reasons Matteo Arpe is the “Banker of the future”.
