Adriano De Maio
Biography
Adriano De Maio was special commissioner of CNR from 2003 to 2004, Chancellor at the Politecnico of Milan from 1994 to 2002, Chancellor of the Luiss Guido Carli University fro 2002 to 2005.
At present he is undersecretary at the Presidency of Regione Lombardia and he has the delegation for High Formation, Research and Innovation.
He leads IRER – Regional Institute of Reaserch of Lombardia.
He is Professor of business processes and innovation management at the University Luiss Guido Carli.
He founded MIP program at Politecnico of Milan, and he was member of its Board of Administration ad Professor at MIP.
In February 2004 he received lauream ad honorem in engineering by the Ecole Centrale de Paris.
In 2002 he led a study-team on Centres of Excellence of MIUR and he also led the Counselling Commission for the university amendment.
Since 2000 he has been the President of Time, that is an association of 37 excellent polytechnic universities.
Since 1999 he has been member of Board of Unitech, that is an association of 8 universities and multinational corporations.
From 1996 to 2000 he was member of Board of Presidence of CRUI.
From 1998 to 2002 he was member of Board of Administration of Ecole Centrale del Paris.
From 1987 to 2001 he was member of the Board of CESEAR.
